Congratulations to the volleyball team and their

efforts at the St. John, Battle Creek Tournament

this past Saturday. The day started with a loss to Trinity, Madison (11-25, 12-25), a close loss to St. Paul, West Point, (17-25, 25-15, 14-16), and a victory over Emmanuel/Faith, York (19-25, 25-19, 25-13). Thanks, ladies for your hard work and thank you to parents, relatives, and fans for making the trip back and forth.

Chapel offering for the month of October will be

designated for “LeadaChild”. The coin purses

sent home today with each child was made by

Guatemalan artisans. You may use the purses to gather offerings for this mission. All donations support Lutheran educational ministries around the world offering Christian education to impoverished children.

Thank you to the MANY drivers for last week’s

Plum Creek Festival. It was a wonderful day of

reading, learning, and Christian fellowship.
