Congratulations to Deanna Slawnyk who was

elected to be our new Board of Education

member. We also thank Jason Fehlhafer for

6 years of excellent service on this board as

the outgoing officer. May God continue to bless

our Board of Education as they serve our

students, teachers, staff, parents, school and

church.

————————————–

If you have not done so already, please return the

sign-up/food donation sheets for the St. Paul

Invitational Basketball Tournament on Saturday,

February 6. Many hands will make the work

light and enjoyable!

——————————————-

Dea Bader has joined our Preschool staff as a

volunteer every Wednesday morning. We thank

her for her service and when you get the

opportunity, welcome her to our St. Paul family.

————————————–

The Board of Education has decided that we

will follow Centennial’s change of schedule on

February 3rd and dismiss at 1:20 P.M. We have

Valentine Adventure that evening, so please

work with our parents in charge of that event

as adjustments are made to follow this schedule.

Thank you!

—————————-

We welcome three student teachers today:

Matt Chapa in grades 5-6; Nathanael Eaton

in grades 3-4; and Thomas Hinrichs in grades

7-8. Please welcome them to our school family

as they finish their teacher training.

—————————————-

Congratulations to Ben Sams (grades 3-4)

and Timothy Backhus (grades 5-6) as St.

Paul’s representatives to the Seward Co.

Spelling Bee. The Bee will be held at the

Civic Center in Seward this Saturday,

PARENTS, we need helpers at the concession

stand for this Thursday’s home basketball

games! Please visit with Mr. Brauer if you can

help. Also, a few hands following the games

for clean-up would be very helpful so that

our teachers can also get home as quickly

as possible. Thank you!!

Thank you Mark Bartholomew for driving his

bus for the preschool farm trip today.
