Congratulations to the girls’ basketball team and
their efforts at the Roundball Tournament this
past weekend in Kearney. They were victorious in their first round game vs. Our Redeemer,
North Platte (29-7), lost in the second round to eventual champion,
Christ, Norfolk (31-16), and won the third-place game against Emmanuel/Faith, York (37-20).
In the Free Throw Contest, the girls’ team (Ascha Utter, Shelby Ziegler, Jaycee Stuhr,
Kate Hirschfeld, and Rachel Hoffschneider) finished in 4th place. Thanks to all the families
and fans that helped to make it a fun event.
Grades 5-8 have rescheduled to sing in church
on Sunday, February 8th. Please meet at 8:42 A.M.
in Mrs. Koch’s room for warm up.
Our Prayer Ministry for the week are Travis and Kendra Fourgeron
and their family, Nick, Hannah, Jill, and Chase; and
Audra Rohweder and her family, Kim and Alexander.
Please keep these
families and the rest of our staff especially
in your prayers this week.
