WEDNESDAY, MARCH 1:
– Chapel with Pastor Dunbar – Ash Wednesday. The
York Crisis Pregnancy Center is our mission
emphasis for the month of March.
– Grades 3-4 to Senior Center at 1:00 P.M.

FRIDAY, MARCH 3:
– 5-6 Grade Science Fair from 1:00 to 2:45 in the gym.
– Boys’ basketball uniform hand-in and Pizza Party
from 3:50 – 4:30 P.M.

SATURDAY, MARCH 4:
– Preschool Open House from 9:30 to 11:00

SUNDAY, MARCH 5:
– Grades K-8 sing at church service. Please meet at 8:42 A.M. for
warm-up before worship.
– Fun Day beginning at 11:00 A.M. Please remember you work times
from the schedule sent home last week!

We will kick off National Lutheran Schools week
with our “Star Wars” Fun Day on Sunday, March 5th,
from 11:00-2:00 P.M. Everyone is invited for
games, prizes, food, and fun for the whole family.

Each school family (K-8) is asked to bring a cake and a 2-litter bottle of pop for the Cake Walk. See attached work schedule for your assigned work slot to help run the games or kitchen. If that time does not work for you, please find a replacement. Thanks for helping make this a FUN event for everyone! See you there!

Usborne Books and Gifts will again present a
book fair in the library during Fun Day, with
proceeds to buy books for our school library!

NATIONAL LUTHERAN SCHOOLS WEEK:
Monday, March 6 – Hero’s Day – Dress up as your favorite Bible
Family, or Super Hero.
Tuesday, March 7 – Spirit Day – Dress up in school colors.
Wednesday, March 8 – Best Clothes Day – Put on your finest for
National Lutheran Schools’ Week chapel.

Congratulations to the girls’ basketball team and
their runner-up finish at the 2017 Concordia
C-Club tournament. After receiving a first-round
bye, they continued with a victory over the
Christ, Norfolk “B” team on Saturday. In the Sunday championship game, they faced St. Paul, West Pint and ended on the losing side. Thanks, ladies, for all of your hard work during the season. Thanks,
also, to parents, families, and fans for your support during the season.

All are invited to the 5th and 6th grade Science Fair to be held on this Friday, March 3rd. Set-up
will be in the morning and we will begin presentations at 1:00 P.M. and continue until 2:45 P.M. Students have been working on their projects for some time and are anxious to share what they have learned!

Spring break is from Thursday, March 9th
through Monday, March 13th. Please
mark you calendars.

Congratulations boys’ basketball team on a fine
