FUN DAY INFO:
Join us for a “Hawaiian Luau” Fun Day on Sunday, March 1, from 11:00-2:00. Everyone is invited for games, prizes, food, and fun for the whole family. A free-will offering donation pork sandwich or hot dog meal, along with soft-serve ice cream, will be available.
REMINDER: Each school family is asked to bring a cake and 2-liter bottle of pop for the Cake Walk. (Cupcakes or pies are fine too, but everything must be in a non-returnable pan.) You have also been assigned a work slot to help run the games and kitchen (see attached sheet). If your assigned work time does not work, please find a replacement. Thanks for helping make this a FUN event for everyone! See you there!
Chapters Books and Gifts will again present a book fair in the library during Fun Day, with proceeds going to buy books for our school library!
Reminder to 5th and 6th grade parents: We will be setting up for Fun Day on Friday, February 27 at 6:00. With everyone’s help, it shouldn’t take too long. We are also responsible for the clean-up on Sunday.
NATIONAL LUTHERAN SCHOOLS WEEK:
In conjunction with National Lutheran Schools Week, St. Paul School will be collecting the supplies listed below in order to prepare care packages for our St. Paul Shut-Ins and for our Armed Forces. We ask that for the next two weeks you please consider sending to school any of these supplies, then at the end of NLSW we will prepare the appropriate care packages. The Bible verse for NLSW is Mark 10:45 “For the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and give His life as a ransom for many.” Preparing these care packages will be our way of showing God’s love and of giving service both locally and nationally.
SHUT INS: lotion, sugar free hard candy, small stuffed animals
ARMED FORCES: see attached Support our Troops list.
